The only sharing preferences I have checked are File Sharing, Remote Apple Events and Bluetooth sharing (have no clue why I would need Bluetooth sharing for anything, but I haven't bothered disabling it). ![]() My Java preferences show Java SE 6 and both the 32-bit and 64-bit are checked. Maybe it will all magically work when you connect it. Only thing you lose by dropping the Comcast box is the On Demand programming. I want to ditch the 20 hr Comcast box at $20/month for the $14.95 HD DVR after it is all setp. I have had a Toshibia Series 2 box with DVD burner for 10 years.
